MOVIE NIGHT - COURAGEOUS

We invite you to come and see the film, “Courageous” on Saturday evening, Febraury 25 at 6:00 PM.

Filled with action-packed police drama, Courageous is the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures, who also produced Fireproof, Facing the Giants, and Flywheel.  Riveted movie goers will once again find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kind of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children.

There is no admission charge for this film and all are welcome.  Refreshments will be available.  Bring your friends.

Preparing For Next Week's Sermon
Preparing for Next Week

This coming Sunday (February 25) we are going to continue our series of sermon studies, based on some of Jesus' most difficult statments.  If Jesus were a politician, He would have driven His handlers nuts.  Sometimes he said things and did things that were not too politically savvy.  This week's phrase sounds pretty mild, but for some of it, it goes against everything inside of us.  Click here to read more about our service this Sunday.

  • An Ordinary Guy

Steve was just an ordinary guy. He quietly served in a church I attended years ago. He helped prepare communion, shoveled the church sidewalks in the winter, and mowed the lawn in the summer. He spent time with teenage boys who had no fathers in the home. I often heard him telling people at church in his quiet way how good the Lord was to him. During prayer meeting he didn’t talk much about himself but would ask us to pray for those he was telling about Jesus’ forgiveness and love.
